Around 1,300 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Balochistan since the outbreak of the pandemic. This was mentioned in a daily situation report released by the Corona Cell Balochistan on Wednesday night. Most of the patients with mild symptoms have recovered at their homes, the DSR stated.

The Corona Cell Balochistan confirmed 80 new cases of the virus as the tally reached 3,616 in the province. The province has so far confirmed 41 deaths caused by the deadly virus. Balochistan has conducted over 22,000 tests of coronavirus.

On Wednesday, 334 tests of coronavirus were conducted and out of them 80 were declared positive by the laboratory established at Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital Quetta.

Most of the cases i.e 83 percent have been reported from Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. Apart from Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, Mastung, Lasbella, Jaffarabad have been hit hard by the virus.
