Balochistan has confirmed 371 highest number of a novel coronavirus in one day since the outbreak of the pandemic on Wednesday. With the confirmation of fresh cases, the number of cases reached 5,226 in the province.

The Corona Cell Balochistan in a daily situation report said that most of the cases have reported from Quetta, the provincial capital so far. However, the virus continues to spread and affected 27 districts of Balochistan. Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, Pishin, and some districts have been hit hard by the novel coronavirus. The province has so far conducted over 27,000 tests of the deadly virus.

“Cases likely to rise after improving the testing capacity”, Liauqat Shahwani, the Spokesman government of Balochistan said. The government has also decided to establish coronavirus laboratories at the divisional level to reach out to maximum number of patients.
