The Corona Cell Balochistan has confirmed 194 cases of the novel coronavirus on Friday evening. With the confirmation of new cases, the tally has reached 5,776 in the province since the outbreak of the pandemic.

The virus has so far killed 54 patients in Balochistan, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell said in a daily situation report released to the press. Over 2,100 patients have recovered from the deadly virus in the province.

The virus has spread to 27 districts of Balochistan. Most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province. However, over 100 cases have been reported from Killa Abdullah, Jaffarabad, Killa Saifullah and Pishin. The provincial health department has up til now conducted over 28,000 tests in the province.
