Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani on Monday said that the novel coronavirus cases continue to rise and around 2,000 cases have been reported within a week in the province.

Addressing a press conference, Mr. Shahwani said most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan province. However, cases have increased in Pishin, Killa Saifullah, Killa Abdullah and Jaffarabad districts of the province. The virus has spread to 29 out of 33 districts of Balochistan.

Regarding the condition of the patients, the Spokesman government of Balochistan said currently 50 patients in the province were in serious condition. He said the province has conducted more than 31,000 tests since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
