Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has directed the anti-corruption establishment to register cases against offices of health and communication and works department for the poor quality of construction work during the last seven years.

The CM passed this order on a report submitted by the planning and development (P&D) department, an official handout released on Monday evening said. In the report, the P & D Department has recommended the registration of cases against the officers involved in poor quality work.

The poor quality schemes include the establishment of 100 bedded psychiatry unit at the cost of Rs. 333.35 million, construction of hostels for house job male and female doctors at the cost of Rs. Rs. 75 million etc.

The CM has directed the concerned quarters to submit a report with regard to the poor quality work and alleged corruption in construction work. Jam Kamal has directed the authorities to prepare a comprehensive report regarding seven years of development schemes in the province’s largest hospital i.e Bolan Medical Complex Hospital.
