Feasibility report about dualization of Karachi-Quetta highway being prepared

The Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani on Sunday said a feasibility report about the dualization of the Karachi-Quetta highway was being prepared. This will bring an end to the loss of precious human lives, he told reporters at a news conference.
Mr. Shahwani said present government was committed to present the case of Balochistan in an effective way before the federal government. He said the dualization of the Karachi-Quetta highway was very necessary owing to the increasing flow of traffic and deadly accidents. “Our government strives for the development of Balochistan“, he said.
CPEC Projects for Balochistan
The Spokesman informed that the Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal has taken the issue of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects with Prime Minister Imran Khan. He mentioned that PM Khan has agreed to include more development projects under CPEC for Balochistan and ensure maximum share of the province in the federal public sector development program.
SOPs in all 16,000 educational institutions
Regarding schools opening, the Spokesman said all educational institutions would open from September 15 in the province. He said the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) would be strictly implemented in all 16,000 educational institutions including schools, colleges, and universities to contain the COVID19.
He said the deputy commissioners would also monitor the implementation of SOPs in educational institutions in the province. To a question, he said raids were being conducted for the arrest of culprit involved in the murder of Shaheena Shaheen, a female journalist in Balochistan’s Turbat.
