Levies arrest 2 suspects in rape, murder case in Maizai Addah

CHAMAN: Levies force detained two suspects in connection with the rape and murder of a minor boy in Balochistan‘s Killa Abdullah district. “Yes, two suspects were taken into custody”, Tariq Javed Mengal, the Deputy Commissioner Killa Abdullah told the daily Quetta Voice.  Levies force picked up a suspected eye witness and then arrested a suspect in connection with the murder. “We would send DNAs of the suspects to Quetta”, Mr. Mengal said.

Unknown culprits first kidnapped, raped, and then murdered an eight-year-old boy in the Maizai Addah area of Killa Abdullah district. The minor boy went missing in the evening, Boor Muhammad, the broken father of the victim said. Villagers saw the dead body of the minor boy hanging with a tree in the nearby orchard, he narrated the ordeal.

“We are interrogating the two suspects”, Mr. Mengal said. Levies officers have been interrogating the suspects regarding the cold-blooded murder of the minor boy. The investigation team of the Levies forces also inspected the site of the tragic incident and collected evidence.

The barbaric incident has caused outrage among the people of the area. People of the area have demanded of the administration to arrest the culprits involved in the rape and murder of the minor boy.

“I am going to personally meet and console with the broken family”, the Deputy Commissioner Killa Abdullah said. Further arrests are also expected in connection with the murder of a minor boy.

In Balochistan, acts of violence against women and children increased during the current year. This year 40 children subjected to sexual violence in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan, an official of the human rights department said.
