After Qadir Baloch, JUI F leader Hafiz Hussain also opposes Nawaz narrative
News Desk:
Central leader of the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F), Hafiz Hussain Ahmed has strongly opposed former premier Nawaz Sharif’s narrative in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) public meetings after Lt.General (R) Qadir Baloch. The Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Lt. General (R) Qadir Baloch has resigned from the party over differences about the narrative of the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the PDM public meetings.
“If General Bajwa responsible for all ills then why PMLN supported his extension”, Mr. Ahmed said in an interview. He said Nawaz Sharif’s party clandestinely supported the present government in the FATF bill and extension bill of the army chief General Bajwa.
The JUI F idealogue claimed Shehbaz Sharif surrendered for arrest under a pre-planned conspiracy to avoid leading the PDM movement in the country. “This is my personal point of view rather than my party”, he clarified. He however said scores of other JUI F workers had also the same point of view about Nawaz Sharif narrative. “Our struggle against the establishment rather than a specific general”, the JUI F leader mentioned.
JUI F chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman is leading the 11-party anti-government alliance in the country.
PDM organized rallies in Quetta, Gujranwala, and Karachi
The anti-government alliance has organized public meetings in Gujranwala, Karachi, and Quetta. It has also decided to hold public meetings in Peshawar and Lahore to mount pressure on the Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government in Islamabad.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also objected to the statement of Nawaz Sharif naming key military general during his Gujranwala speech. “Nawaz speech in Gujranwala naming military generals rather than establishment shocked me”, Bilawal told BBC in an interview the other day.
