Kohlu Gas Cylinder Blast: Children death toll rises to 6

Five-year-old Faryal seriously injured the gas cylinder blast succumbed to injuries in Multan hospital on Saturday morning. The death toll in the gas cylinder blast rises to 6 in Balochistan’s district Kohlu.
Three children injured in the gas cylinder blast in Balochistan’s Kohlu blast succumbed to injuries in Multan hospital on Friday. The blast had injured 33 people including 31 children during a wedding ceremony in the Bohri area of Kohlu district.
Earlier, two minor girls seriously injured in a gas cylinder blast succumbed to injuries in the hospital. 13 injured shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan for medical treatment.
Nishtar hospital sources confirmed the death of two minor girls. The rest of the injured in the Kohlu cylinder blast is under treatment at the Burn Center of the Nishtar Hospital. 11 critical patients of the blast still admitted to the hospital.
The children had gathered around a potato chips seller in the Bohri area of Kohlu when the gas cylinder exploded, Haq Nawaz, a police officer said. He said two sellers of the chips were also among the injured.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan had requested the Punjab government to provide better health facilities to the injured children. The children are under the treatment currently, Naseebullah Marri, a lawmaker from the ruling Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) said.
There has been mourning in the entire district over the tragic incident that claimed the lives of five children. The gas cylinder went off with a big bang during the wedding party. Two potato chips sellers were also among the injured. However, the doctors describe their condition out of danger.
