DC Kohlu cancels 22 fake domiciles

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohlu has cancelled 22 fake domiciles certificates after thorough scrutiny. Sources in the DC office said all 22 fake domicile holders had obtained jobs in various federal departments on Balochistan’s job quota.

The accused were performing jobs in different federal departments in district Kohlu. The DC has cancelled fake domiciles and written letters to the concerned departments.

The Balochistan government had directed all deputy commissioners to launch a crackdown against fake domiciles and conduct thorough scrutiny in this regard. The DC Quetta, Mastung, Musakhail have already cancelled fake domiciles.

The Balochistan high court (BHC) had also ordered all commissioners and deputy commissioners to submit a report about fake domiciles in the province. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan had also directed the deputy commissioners to expedite the process and ensure cancellation of fake domiciles.
