CM Balochistan orders preparation of health sector strategy

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan on Monday directed the authorities to prepare a health sector strategy to improve health services. Chief Minister chaired an important meeting regarding the health sector.
The meeting thoroughly discussed all ways and means for the improvement of the health sector in Balochistan. Parliamentary secretary on health, Dr. Rubaba Buledi, parliamentary secretary Danesh Kumar and other high ups attended the meeting.
“Through this strategy, governance and accountability system would be strengthened”, Jam Kamal said. He directed the concerned quarters to ensure financial discipline and merit in the health sector so that the issues of the masses could be addressed.
Road-map prepared and health strategy evolved in Balochistan
Briefing the meeting, the secretary health Balochistan, Noor ul Haq Baloch said a road-map prepared and strategy evolved for health. Top officer of the health department also presented recommendations about the digitalization plan for civil hospital and procurement policy.
Noor ul Haq Baloch informed that health insurance policy would prove to be a revolution in the health sector of Balochistan. The meeting also reviewed the provision of telemedicine kits in the health sector and other issues in this regard.
