Guard murder mystery solved: Quetta Police arrest 2 accused

Quetta police have resolved the mystery surrounding the murder of a security guard by arresting 2 key accused. The accused had murdered a security guard deployed at the office of a non-governmental organization (NGO) i.e. Taraqee Foundation (TF) a week ago.

“We have picked up a key accused from Muslim Bagh area of Balochistan”, Pari Gul Tareen, the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) told a news conference. Family members of Muhammad Hussain, the murdered guard were also present on the occasion.

She said police conducted a midnight raid at a village in Muslim Bagh tehsil of Killa Saifullah district and arrested the accused.

Accused had also visited Multan and Faisalabad

The accused visited Multan and Faisalabad and was spending a night in the village when apprehended by police, Pari Gul Tareen mentioned. Police had also arrested another key accused from Quetta in connection with the murder of a security guard.

“We are interrogating both the accused”, the ASP Quetta Cantonment informed. Initially, police appeared to be clueless about the cold-blooded murder of the hapless security guard. However, police solved the mystery after launching a thorough investigation into the murder case.

“Police performed well in this case”, Amjad Rasheed, the Chief Executive of the Taraqee Foundation (TF) where the tragedy struck said.

The accused Mir Agha and Khan Muhammad by police. A local court in Quetta had already handed over both the accused to police on remand.
