Miners Murder: Traders announce shutter down strike on Jan 7 in Quetta

The traders’ community has announced a shutter down strike against the killing of coal miners on January 7 in Quetta. The traders’ leaders including Rahim Kakar, Yaseen Mengal, and others met with members of the Hazara community on Tuesday.

The Hazara community has been staging a sit-in for a lost three days against the cold-blooded murder of 11 coal miners in Balochistan’s Mach area. The enraged protesters have blocked the main Western bypass suspending all kinds of traffic.

Traders condemn the killings

“We standby members of Hazara community”, Rahim Kakar told the protesters. He said the trades community would extend all possible cooperation to the broken family members.

The traders’ leaders have made an appeal to political parties and the business community to make the shutter down strike a success. The traders’ leaders have demanded of the Balochistan government to form a joint interrogation team to probe into the tragedy that claimed the lives of 11 coal miners in the Mach area of Balochistan.
