PM Imran Khan arrives in Quetta to meet Hazara community

Prime Minister, Imran Khan arrived in Quetta on Saturday afternoon to meet the members of the ethnic Shia Hazara community. The federal minister for interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and other high ups accompanied the PM during his visit to Quetta.

The premier met with the heirs of slain miners in Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University opposition Hazara town. Amid tight security, the PM reached the SBK to meet the family members of slain miners.

Strict security measures adopted by the administration and all shops and business centers on Quetta’s airport road closed following the visit of the PM. The premier met members of the Hazara community who staged a 6-days long sit-in to mourn the killing of 11 coal miners in Balochistan’s Mach area.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal briefed the Prime Minister about the agreement between the government and Hazara community. Governor Balochistan, Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai and high ups were also present on the occasion.
