Balochistan Govt provides 17985 jobs in 2 and half years: Jam Kamal

Balochistan government has provided 17,985 jobs to youth in various departments in the last 2 and a half years. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan took to social media network Twitter and revealed the number of appointments.
The provincial government has provided over 12,000 jobs from grade-1 to 15 in various departments, he mentioned. Rest of the jobs recommended through the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) from grade 16 and above.
The Chief Minister had earlier asked the people on Twitter about the provision of jobs to youth in Balochistan. People reacted to his Twitter survey with various figures. Finally, Jam Kamal announced that the government has provided 17,985 jobs to the youth of Balochistan.
The education department recruits over 9,000 teachers
Recently, the Balochistan education department completed the recruitment of over 9,000 teachers across the province. With the appointment of teachers, we will overcome the issue of shortage of teachers, Sher Khan Bazai, the Secretary of Secondary Education said.
These jobs were lying vacant in the education department for last more than five years. The previous government had also announced recruitment on jobs. However, the then government was unable to complete the process of recruitment because of governance issues.
Process of interviews for appointment of over 1,000 doctors also underway
The present government has also recruited over 1,000 doctors on a contract basis to improve health facilities for the masses of Balochistan. Although, the process of interviews for the appointment of over 1,000 doctors is also in progress at the BPSC. The BPSC has announced an interviews schedule from medical officers.
BPSC recommends appointments of over 1,000 SSTs
The BPSC has also recommended the appointment of around 1,000 senior science teachers in the education department. “BPSC has almost completed the process of recommendations of SSTs”, a senior officer of the commission told Quetta Voice. He requested anonymity.
