Lehri: Landmine blast kills a woman injured her 2 daughters

SIBI: A landmine explosion killed a woman and injured her two daughters in Balochistan‘s Lehri area on Sunday. Zohaib ul Haq, the Assistant Commissioner Bakhtiarabad said Kamal a landmine blast seriously injured a woman identified as Kamal Khatoon.

Condition of minor girls is out of danger

The blast also wounded her two minor daughters. However, the injured woman succumbed to injuries on her way to the hospital for medical treatment, the Assistant Commissioner stated.

“The condition of children is out of danger”, he mentioned. Levies personnel reached the spot and cordoned off the area to probe into the incident.

The woman was walking in a deserted area when she stepped upon a landmine. The mine exploded with a big bang. This incident has come a day after a landmine killed a person in Balochistan’s Kohlu district. 

Landmine explosions across Balochistan have claimed scores of precious human lives. Most of the landmine explosions have taken a place in the Dera Bugti and Kohlu districts of Balochistan.
