Balochistan police introduce ‘Zainab Alert’ app to trace missing children

QUETTA: Balochistan police has introduced ‘Zainab Alert’ app to trace out missing children in the province. Police have taken this step in view of increasing cases of violence agianst children in the province.

Inspector General Police (IGP) Balochistan, Rai Tahir has directed all the Police officers to download “ZAINAB ALERT” an app to trace out the missing children.

The directions were issued on Friday and all the Police officers including DIGs, DPOs have been directed to install the app by 15th February.

All the DIGs and SSPs are also directed to ensure compliance within their jurisdiction and submit a certificate in this regard to IT Directorate, CPO Quetta by 15th February.

All the concerned were also informed that the competent authority (IGP) may call any officer to inquire about the installation of the app, a notification issued by the police central office said.
