Wadh :Balochistan Advisor for Local Government and Rural Development, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri, visited the Badri area of Wadh to express solidarity with the families affected by the recent Khuzdar terror attack and reaffirm the provincial government’s commitment to restoring lasting peace across Balochistan.
The visit followed the terrorist attack on the residence of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and tribal elder Mir Shafique-ur-Rehman Mengal in Khuzdar. Several security guards were martyred while defending the residence against the attackers.
During the visit, Amir Hamza Zehri met the bereaved families, offered Fateha for the martyrs, and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. He prayed for the departed souls and assured the families that the sacrifices made in the fight against terrorism would always be remembered.
The provincial advisor also met Mir Shafique-ur-Rehman Mengal and conveyed the Balochistan government’s full support following the attack.
The delegation accompanying Zehri included District Chairman Khuzdar Haji Salahuddin Zehri, Khan Muhammad Zehri, Abdul Malik Bajoi, and Sikandar Bajoi, demonstrating unity against terrorism and support for the affected families.
Speaking on the occasion, Zehri said terrorism could never undermine the resolve of the people of Balochistan.
“Those behind these cowardly attacks want to spread fear, but they will never succeed. Our determination to establish peace, strengthen security, and ensure development in Khuzdar and across Balochistan has only grown stronger,” he said.
He added that the Balochistan government is taking concrete measures to improve law and order, dismantle terrorist networks, and protect citizens, reaffirming that peace and stability in Khuzdar, Wadh, and the rest of Balochistan remain among the government’s highest priorities.
