Players from Balochistan to play in national cricket team: CM Jam Kamal

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan on Monday expressed the hope that players from the province would play in the national cricket team in the future. He expressed these views while speaking to reporters at CM Secretariat. Former Pakistan cricket team captain, Inzamam ul Haq has also arrived in Quetta to promote cricket in Balochistan.
“Government has decided to promote cricket”, Jam Kamal said. He said the beautiful Gwadar cricket stadium inaugurated to promote sports. The CM however said, “my favorite team is Quetta Gladiators, and pray for its success”. He welcomed the former captain of the national cricket team, Inzamam ul Haq in Quetta. He expressed the hope that the latter’s suggestions would help promote cricket.
Balochistan players have the talent to play on a national level
Speaking on the occasion, Inzamam ul Haq stated that players from Balochistan have the talent to play on national and international levels. He however said the government has to give an opportunity to players of Balochistan to play on a national level.
Promotion of cricket at the school level
The former captain said cricket should be promoted at the school level so that players from Balochistan can play. “We have to encourage the talent”, Inzamam ul Haq mentioned.
The former captain has arrived in Quetta to suggest ways and means for the promotion of cricket in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. Inzamam ul Haq held meetings with local cricketers and officials of the sports department with regard to the promotion of cricket in Balochistan.
The world-fame batsman also visited the beautiful Gwadar stadium. National and international matches should start in Gwadar, Inzamam ul Haq said. “I have seen such a beautiful stadium in South Africa”, he told.
