DC Pishin suspends 11 levies men on corruption charges

The Deputy Commissioner Pishin, Qaim Khan Lashari suspended 11 levies men on corruption charges. The video of levies men taking money from drivers carrying Iranian smuggled diesel and petrol went viral the other day.
In the video, levies men at Saranan check post are stopping the vehicles and asking the drivers to pay money. This prompted the DC Pishin Qaim Lashari to order inquiry and suspend all 11 levies men.
DC forms committee to probe into the corruption charges
The DC has also constituted an inquiry committee headed by assistant commissioner Huramzai to probe into the corruption charges. The DC has directed the assistant commissioner to submit a report in this regard.
Till the completion of the inquiry report, all 11 levies men directed to report to levies headquarters Pishin.
Earlier, the DC Washuk had also suspended levies personnel for their involvement in taking bribery from people smuggling Iranian petrol and diesel.
