Establishment of 10 fire brigade stations proposed in Balochistan budget

The Balochistan Local Government department has proposed the establishment of new 10 fire brigade stations in the fast-approaching budget for the year financial year 2021-2022. This proposal has come after a series of complaints about the non-availability of the fire brigade in the district headquarters of Balochistan.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan chaired a joint meeting of various departments to finalize recommendations of development schemes in the upcoming budget. CM’s advisers including Haji Toor Utmankhail, Sardar Sarfaraz Domki, parliamentary secretary Mir Sikandar Umrani, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana, and other officials participated in the meeting.

LG prepared six concept papers 

The LG had prepared six concept papers regarding the upcoming budget. The department proposed drainage and sewerage systems in major cities of the province. The CM directed the concerned officers to prepare a master plan with regard to sewerage and drainage systems.

The energy department proposed schemes pertaining to solarization in the province. The department proposed solarization of newly upgraded high schools and basic health units and hospitals in the budget.

Solar street lights proposed for major cities 

Solar street lights also proposed for major cities of the province. Jam Kamal Khan instructed the concerned officers to make sure installation of solar street lights at the entrance of cities.

The CM also directed the mines and minerals department to make sure quality education to sons and daughters of coal miners. He also directed the department to use the latest technologies for the export of mineral resources of Balochistan.
