Changez Jamali appointed as PPP Balochistan President

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appointed former federal minister, Mir Changez Jamali as the President of the party in Balochistan. Changez belongs to the influential Jamali family of Balochistan’s Jaffarabad district.

“Yes, the PPP has appointed Mr. Jamali as the provincial president”, Mir Sadiq Umrani, the former PPP Balochistan president told Quetta Voice. He said, “the chairman has appointed Mr. Jamali as the president and we support this decision”, Mr. Umrani mentioned.

Changez Jamali served as a federal minister in Yousaf Raza Gailani cabinet 

Mir Changez Jamali remained federal minister for science and technology in the cabinet of the former premier Syed Yousaf Raza Gailani during the PPP government in 2008.

Sources in the Bilawal house Karachi also confirmed the appointment of Mr. Jamali as the PPP President of Balochistan. The news of Mr. Jamali also shared in the official WhatsApp group of the Bilawal House.

Mr. Jamali has replaced Ali Madad Jattak as the PPP Balochistan chief.
