Digitalization of police system important to trace criminals: CM Balochistan

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has termed the digitalization of the police system important in tracing out criminals across the province. The CM visited the command and communication center at the central police office in Quetta on Wednesday.

Balochistan finance minister, Zahoor Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khoso, Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Tahir Rai, and others have also accompanied the CM during the visit.

Govt to establish surveillance system in 29 districts 

The Balochistan government has decided to establish a surveillance system in 29 districts of the province to improve the law and order situation and ensure the apprehending of terrorists and criminals. The system would improve profiling of criminals, proclaimed offenders, discipline, investigation of police in Balochistan.

“This is a major step towards modern policing in the province”, Jam Kamal Khan stated. He said better policy coupled with a better mechanism can help to improve policing in the province.

The CM and provincial ministers visited various sections of the command and communication center and appreciated the efforts made by the Balochistan Police Chief.
