CTD kills 4 terrorists in Marwar area of Quetta: Spokesman

QUETTA: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has killed 4 terrorists in the Marwar area of Quetta on Thursday. Spokesman CTD said security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation and killed 4 terrorists in the Marwar area. The terrorists were involved in a series of terrorist activities across Balochistan.
The terrorists belonged to an outlawed militant organization, the Spokesman mentioned. He said security forces recovered huge catch of arms and ammunition from the possession of the terrorists.
He however informed that the six to eight terrorists fled from the spot. Searching for the fleeing terrorists is underway, the Spokesman said. There was also an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, he added.
CTD has intensified operations against terrorists in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan recently.
