Security forces killed 5 suspected terrorists in Quetta’s Hazar Ganji area on Monday. Spokesman Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Hazar Ganji area.
“5 terrorists were killed during the IBO”, he said. Arms and ammunition recovered from the possession of the terrorists, he added. Recoveries include: 2 X SMG with 120 Rounds
3 X 9MM Pistols with 60 Rounds 2 X Hand Grenades 2 X Motor Cycles.

The dead terrorists belong to an outlawed militant organization operating in various parts of Balochistan. The terrorists were planning to carry out a terrorist attack in Balochistan when their nefarious design timely foiled, the Spokesman mentioned. Rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to the hospital for identification.
