Development of Balochistan is a priority of government: Governor

ISLAMABAD: Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha has said that the development and prosperity of Balochistan was the priority of the present government. He expressed these views while talking to former caretaker minister Balochistan, Mir Naveed Kalmati in Islamabad on Sunday.

The Governor stated that the present government has launched a number of development projects in the province to bring it at par with other developed parts of the country. “Prime Minister Imran Khan gives importance to Balochistan”, Mr. Agha stated.

Governor Balochistan held a series of meetings with federal ministers and other high-ups and discussed issues relating to the province. The governor urged the federal ministers to pay special attention to the development and prosperity of Balochistan.

Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha stated that the people of Balochistan were deprived of their rights in the past. This is for the first time that the present government has allocated billions of rupees for development projects in the province.

He said the federal minister and other high-ups have assured that all-out efforts would be made to address the grievances of the masses of Balochistan. “This government has a clear agenda of development of Balochistan”, he added.
