Former Guerrilla Commander Wadera Hazar Khan Marri passes away

Former Guerrilla Commander, Wadera Hazar Khan Marri breathed his last on Wednesday morning. Family sources confirmed that Hazar Khan Marri was suffering from protracted illness at a hospital in Muzaffar Garh Punjab.

He was suffering from cardiac problems for a long time and died in a hospital. The dead body of Wadera Hazar Khan Marri was shifted to Kohlu from Punjab. He would be buried at his ancestral graveyard in Balochistan’s Kohlu district.

Hazar Khan Marri had gone in self-exile in the 1970s during an insurgency against the then Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He however came back and led a peaceful life in the country.

He was the father of Dr. Juma Khan Marri, the Chief of Overseas Pakistanis Baloch Itehad.

Member of Balochistan Assembly, Mir Naseebullah Khan Marri has expressed grief and sorrows over the demise of Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani Marri. He prayed that may Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
