Governor awards honorary Ph.D. degree to Shaheed Aimal Kasi

Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha has awarded an honorary Ph.D. degree to Shaheed Aimal Kasi on Tuesday. Kasi was martyred in a deadly suicide bombing in Quetta’s Serena Hotel.
A function was held at the Governor’s house. Vice-Chancellor University of Balochistan, Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman, Zahir Kasi, the father of Shaheed Aimal Kasi, Mirwise Kasi, the brother, and other family members were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor paid rich tribute to all martyrs of the terror blast. This is for the first time in the history of Balochistan University that an honorary degree has been awarded.
This degree is in recognition of Shaheed Aimal Khan’s services for the promotion of education and helping the voiceless class of society, the Governor concluded.
