Two policemen injured in Sariab road Quetta blast

Two policemen were injured in a blast in Quetta’s Sariab road on Wednesday evening. Police sources said the terrorists targeted the police eagle squad.

The personnel of the eagle squad was passing from the area when the bomb exploded. Policemen injured minor injuries, police sources said. Terrorists had used 300 to 400 grams of explosives, police said. The injured policemen were rushed to civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

The incident happened in the Musa Colony area of Sariab road, police said. Security tightened in the aftermath of the blast in Sariad road and surrounding areas.

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove strongly condemned the attack in Quetta. In a condemnation statement, the Minister directed the police to submit a report in this regard. He said the perpetrators of the blast would be brought to justice.
