Talks underway with banned TTP: Imran Khan tells TRT

Prime Minister, Imran Khan has revealed that talks were underway with the outlawed Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP). In an exclusive interview with TRT’s Ali Mustafa, the Premier said talks were going on with some groups of the TTP.
“Yes if they disarm and follow the constitution and law, no issue”, he said. He reiterated that military operation does not offer any solution rather it further compounds the issues.
In response to a question, Mr. Khan mentioned that talks were going in Afghanistan and the Afghan Taliban were facilitating the negotiations.
