“I will not vote for BAP”, Nawab Raisani

QUETTA: Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has categorically stated that he would not vote for the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). Nawab Raisani took to social media network Twitter and explained, “we have told opposition leader that we would not vote for BAP”.

The BAP government has ignored real issues of Balochistan during the last three years, he said. “This party has not accepted our principled stance”, the former CM noted.

Nawab Raisani’s statement has come a day after 40 lawmakers including Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) lawmaker Nawab Sanaullah Zehri demanded of the CM Jam Kamal Khan to step down. The joint opposition and the BAP angry members claimed that Nawab Raisani also support them.

Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Qudoos Bizenjo has convened the assembly session on October 25 at 11 am for voting on a no-confidence motion against CM Jam Kamal Khan.
