CM Balochistan approves salaries of 550 BDA contract employees

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has approved the salaries of 550 contract employees of the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) on Friday. The CM has issued the approval of salaries on a summary sent by the department, an official handout issued here said.

BDA employees were not receiving their salaries for last more than a month. Despite repeated appeals and protests, the government had not issued them salaries. In his maiden speech in Balochistan Assembly, the CM had promised to release the salaries of BDA employees.

Bizenjo directors restoration of 802 water plants

The CM has directed the concerned quarters to restore 802 water filtration plants across Balochistan. Mr. Bizenjo said the salaries of plants operators from Rs. 5,000 to 17,500. In this regard, the CM has approved the release of Rs. 120 million to provide pure water to the masses. The CM stated that the provision of clean drinking water was the top priority of his government.
