Senior doctors call on CS Balochistan

QUETTA: Senior doctors from Bolan Medical Complex Hospital (BMCH) and Civil Hospital called on Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana on Saturday. Dr. Zahir Mandokhail, the Principal of the Bolan Medical College (BMC) led the delegation of the senior doctors.

Professor Khan Muhammad Babar, Professor Ayesha, Professor Naila Ehsan, Professor Dr. Mujeebullah Tareen, Dr. Ashraf Achakzai, and others were also present on the occasion.

The doctors’ delegation apprised CS Balochistan about the issues faced by health professionals in the province. Mr. Rana assured senior doctors that government would take all possible steps to address the issues of the doctors in Balochistan. The meeting has come a day after the Balochistan High Court (BHC) directed the Young Doctors Association (YDA) to end the boycott and ensure their presence in the OPDs of the government-run hospitals.
