Four shot dead, four injured in Mastung firing incident

At least four people were shot dead and four were injured in a firing incident in the Mastung district of Balochistan on Sunday. Police sources said armed men opened fire in the Wali Khan Bypass area of Mastung.

Armed men opened fire at a vehicle and killed four people and injured four others. The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.

The dead bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital in Mastung. Police said the vehicle of tribal personality Sardarzada Mir Muhammad Khan Ababki was targeted.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has strongly condemned the firing incident in Mastung. In a statement, the CM has directed the police to arrest the culprits involved in the incident.
Mr. Bizenjo has urged the tribal elders to play their role in resolving tribal disputes.
