CM Balochistan orders issuance of funds for local councils

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has ordered the issuance of funds for local councils across the province. Local councils were facing financial issues and the government had failed to issue funds for them.
“CM has ordered the immediate release of funds for local councils”, an official handout issued by the Chief Minister Balochistan Secretariat said on Sunday evening. Mr. Bizenjo directed the local councils to make sure cleanliness in their respective areas after the release of funds.
The CM stated that local councils play an important role in the development and prosperity of the country and province. “No compromise over the cleanliness of the city”, the CM was quoted in the official handout.
He asked the metropolitan corporations, municipal committees to improve their performance.
