Landmine explosion claims another life in Kohlu

KOHLU: A landmine explosion has claimed another life in Balochistan’s Kohlu district on Thursday. Levies sources said a woman and child were seriously injured in the blast. The victim was on a motorcycle, which hit a landmine in the Bareli area of Mawand tehsil Kohlu district.
Levies personnel reached the spot and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital for medical treatment. The dead body was also shifted to the hospital.
Levies launched an investigation into the blast after the incident. This incident has come to a couple of days after a similar landmine explosion killed a man in tehsil Kahan of district Kohlu. Land mines explosions have claimed scores of precious human lives in Kohlu and Dera Bugti districts of Balochistan.
