This raid has come after a similar raid conducted by Pakistan Customs for recovering urea fertilizers. The Balochistan government has imposed a ban on the smuggling of urea fertilizers in the province.

The government had imposed a ban on the smuggling of urea fertilizers in view of shortage and increasing prices of the fertilizers inside Pakistan and the issues of farmers.
