CTD foils major terror bid in Kohlu district

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a major terror bid in Balochistan’s Kohlu district by seizing huge cache of arms and ammunition. The CTD Sibi range conducted a raid in the mountains of Kohlu and recovered arms and ammunition.
Security sources said the terrorists belonging to an outlawed militant organization were planning to carry out major terrorist activities. They had dumped the weapons in the mountains to carry out subversive activities, they said. No arrest was made since the miscreants had fled from the spot and dumped the weapons.
It was an intelligence-based operation (IBO), the mentioned. The weapons include Anti-AirCraft Gun with Stand-1, RPG Gun with Stand-2, Mortar Guns-2, Hand Grenades-20, Rocket Launchers-20, Fuses Small-18, Rocekt Shells-18 and other weapons.
