QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has warned that terrorist hideouts would be destroyed and they (terrorists) would be chased out to their last. “Terrorists would not be allowed to play with the lives of innocent people”, CM Bizenjo told reporters here on Friday evening.
CM Balochistan stated that a handful of elements at the behest of their foreign masters were carrying out terrorist attacks to disrupt the peace of the province. “No place for such elements carrying out terror acts”, he warned.
Security forces bravely repulsed terror attacks
When asked about Noshki and Panjgur terror attacks, CM Bizenjo said that security forces have bravely repulsed terrorist attacks and sacrificed their lives to defend the motherland. He said the situation was not so disturbing the way the media was trying to portray it. Balochistan is half of the country in terms of area and the remaining province is peaceful, he added.
CM’s comments come after Noshki and Panjgur terror attacks
CM’s comments have come a day after the security forces killed nine terrorists in the Noshki and Pangur districts of Balochistan. Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove said twelve soldiers were also martyred in exchange for fire with terrorists in Panjgur and Noshki.
Regarding negotiations, the Chief Minister said the government was trying to pave the way for political reconciliation. He however made it clear that the government would ensure implementation of the writ of the State.
He said the government has announced to welcome investors in Balochistan to improve the economy of the province and country. Mr. Bizenjo said the government was trying to address issues through political means in Balochistan in order to improve the living standard of the masses. “Terrorists are targeting innocent people”, he said. This is our collective loss and we have to speak up against this, he added.
