Extracurricular activities important for youth: CM Balochistan

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has termed extracurricular activities important for youth to meet future challenges. In a statement issued here on Sunday, the CM said extracurricular activities were crucial for the mental growth of the young generation.

Mr. Bizenjo stated that the Balochistan sports department has organized the Gwadar youth festival to encourage local talent and promote extracurricular activities in the province. “Encourage local talent and give an opportunity to players”, the CM said.

Balochistan Sports Department and local administration have launched the Gwadar Youth Festival on Saturday. On Sunday, a large number of male and female students participated in the festival at Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bizenjo stadium. Over 20 stalls have been established at the festival to promote culture, tradition, and the habit of book reading in Balochistan.

“Knowledge and pen are friends of students”, the CM said. He expressed the hope that such kinds of events would be organized in other parts of Balochistan to pave new vistas of extracurricular activities for the students of the province.
