Haleem Khan of PTI joins Jehangir Tareen group

Former Senior Minister Punjab, Haleem Khan has announced the joining of the Jehangir Tareen group of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI). 18 members of the Punjab Assembly met at the residence of Jehangir Khan Tareen. “I have met over 40 MPAs and they all have expressed concern”, Haleem Khan told reporters at the residence of Jehangir Tareen.

Mr. Tareen addressed the meeting via video link from London. He is in London for medical treatment.

“Jehangir Tareen played a key role in the success of PTI”, Haleem Khan said. He announced the joining of the Jehangir Khan Tareen group formally. Unfortunately, Jehangir Tareen was totally ignored after coming into power, he said.

Mr. Khan stated that all the people who had struggled along with Imran Khan for a new Pakistan were ignored by the government. “New people were accommodated and facilitated and real workers were ignored”, he said.

Haleem Khan said that there was the worst government Punjab and PTI workers and voters were expressing serious concern about this attitude. Those who sacrificed for a new Pakistan, all are gathered here.
