Federal Interior Minister, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has reiterated that Prime Minister Imran Khan would be more dangerous on roads. “My belief, Imran is going to be more dangerous on roads than PM’s office”, the Minister told reporters in Islamabad.
Sheikh Rasheed’s comments have come after the ruling Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) has announced a million march on D-Chowk Islamabad. The Premier has asked his supporters to reach the D-Chowk for a major political show against the opposition parties.
“We will not allow anyone to take administrative control of the parliament lodges”, Sheikh Rasheed stated. He said security has been tightened in and around the parliament lodges to make sure safety of the lawmakers. “If required, we can convene Pak Army for the protection of members in Islamabad’, he said. He said both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari have deceived the masses.
“I have not seen such a stupid opposition”, he said. The Minister mentioned that one year remains for the elections and what he called this ‘stupid’ opposition was trying to overthrow the government.
He repeated that the Premier will survive the no-confidence motion and ensure victory in this regard.
