ISLAMABAD: Leaders of the mainstream opposition parties would meet today in Islamabad to discuss the strategy regarding the no-confidence motion. Opposition leader, Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Asif Zardari, and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazal ur Rehman would attend the meeting regarding the no-trust motion.

Meanwhile, other leaders of the opposition parties including Akhtar Mengal have also been invited to attend the meeting. Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will also host a dinner. The huddle will also discuss the Parliament lodges issue when Members of National Assembly (MNAs) were manhandled and arrested by the authorities.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would also attend the meeting of the opposition parties. Sources within the opposition said that successful negotiations have been held with government allies including Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan.
