The tilt of ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) lawmakers is towards joint opposition rather than Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI). “Formal announcement for supporting no confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan would be made soon”, a central leader of the BAP told this scribe. He requested anonymity since he was not authorised to speak to the media.

BAP develops working relation with PML Q 

He revealed that former Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has developed a good working relationship with Pakistan Muslim League (Q) recently. Q league Chief, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has sent alarm bells in power corridor in his interview with a private TV channel.

However, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani camp within the BAP continues to lobby for Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Sanjrani and CM Quddus Bizenjo appear to be less influential in the changing political scenario”, the BAP leader mentioned.
Chairman Senate hosts dinner in the honor of Sardar Akhtar Mengal 

Chairman Senate hosted a dinner in the honor of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal in Islamabad. “I personally stand with the Premier”, one of the participants of the dinner quoting Chairman Senate told Quetta Voice. He elaborated that BNP made it clear that it stands with joint opposition.

BAP has five lawmakers in the National Assembly. In the prevailing circumstances, their votes are crucial in the success and failure of the no confidence motion submitted against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
