ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to declare Governor rule in Sindh province. “I have advised Premier to enforce Governor Raj in Sindh”, the Minister told reporters in the federal capital.
“Majority have left PM Khan and now they are trying to take unconstitutional steps”, Saeed Ghani, the leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) reacted. This is insane and such ministers have created problems for the PM Imran Khan, Mr. Ghani mentioned.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed claimed that PPP was utilizing Sindh’s resources to what he called buy votes against PM Khan. He said the opposition was playing a dangerous game in the country to preserve their personal interests.
The Minister said Sindh house has been exposed to the prevailing political crisis. His comments have come after four members of the national assembly from the ruling Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) have joined the ranks of the joint opposition.
