Blast kills one and injured seven in Awaran Balochistan

One person was killed in a landmine explosion near Balochistan’s Dera Murad Jamali area on Saturday morning. Police sources said the landmine explosion went off on Notal-Gandawah road near Dera Murad Jamali.

The blast killed a water tanker driver identified as Bahrat Khan. The victim belongs to the Killa Saifullah district of Balochistan. The dead body was shifted to district headquarters hospital Naseerabad. Miscreants had planted the landmine on a roadside. The water tanker hit the mine, which exploded with a big bang killing the driver on the spot.

A large number of policemen reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. Landmine explosions in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, and other areas have claimed scores of precious human lives.
