Chief of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) and member of national assembly, Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti has parted ways with the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) led government. Talking to reporters along with the Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Mr. Bugti said the government has failed to address the grievances of the masses of Balochistan.

“We are no more part of the government”, he told reporters in the federal capital. JWP has one MNA and one MPA in the Balochistan Assembly. The party had extended support to the PTI in formation of government after 2018 general elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari told reporters, “we gave a good surprise to the government on a surprise day”. He said the government had failed to focus on Balochistan and address the issues faced by its masses.

“We will continue our struggle against the government”, Bilawal stated. He said Shah Zain Bugti would be now part of the opposition to overthrow Khan Sab’s government.

Shah Zain Bugti was also chief of the Prime Minister’s negotiation team with disgruntled Baloch leaders. The PM had nominated Shah Zain Bugti as the federal government’s negotiation chief during his address in Balochistan’s Kech district last year.
