LAHORE: Jehangir Tareen group within the ruling Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) has announced to support Hamza Shehbaz as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Members of the JK group addressed a news conference along with Hamza Shehbaz and announced their support. Noman Langrial and others were also present on the occasion.
PTI and allies have fielded Chaudhary Pervez Elahi as the candidate for CM Punjab.
”We are in opposition in the assembly from the beginning”, Mr. Langrial said. He lashes out at the PTI government. The session of the Punjab assembly would be held tomorrow (Sunday) at 11 am. Governor Punjab has convened the session of the assembly in the aftermath of the resignation of the former Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar.
