QUETTA: 14 Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) members of the provincial assembly nominated Mir Quddus Bizenjo as their parliamentary leader in the Balochistan Assembly. Currently, Jam Kamal Khan, the President of the ruling BAP is the parliamentary leader in the house.

BAP leaders including Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Lala Rasheed, Muhammad Khan Lehri and Bushra Rind submitted the nomination of Mr. Bizenjo as the party’s parliamentary leader in the provincial assembly.

Quddus Bizenjo is currently the Chief Minister of Balochistan. He belongs to BAP.

Assembly Secretariat received the nomination of Bizenjo

“We have received the nomination of Quddus Bizenjo as the parliamentary leader”, Tahir Shah Kakar, the Secretary Balochistan Assembly confirmed to Quetta Voice. He said the members in their application have asked the assembly secretariat to declare Mr. Bizenjo as the parliamentary leader.

Prominent among those who signed the nomination letter were Sardar Saleh Muhammad Bhootani, Noor Muhammad Dumar, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Muhammad Khan Lehri, Mir Sikandar Umrani and others. There was no immediate response on the part of Jam Kamal Khan, the BAP President.
