DM JAMALI: At least two people were killed and another injured, when unknown armed men opened fire at a cloth shop in Dera Murad Jamali town in Balochistan`s district Naseerabad on Sunday.
The Incident took place in the main market of the town, where armed men came into a car and opened fire at a cloth shop, police said. As a result of the firing, two men died on the spot and one suffered serious injuries.
Armed men soon after the incident managed to flee from the spot unhurt. Police rushed to the site soon and shifted the dead bodies and injured to a nearby hospital.
The local police conducted a timely raid and arrested two attackers and recovered weapons and the car used in the crime.
It was the result of an old feud between two rivals of the Lehri tribe, a senior police officer told “ Quetta Voice”. He requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. The arrested accused are under investigation and will be dealt with as per law, he made it clear that no one would be allowed to disrupt the peace of the area, the safety of public and law and order situation will be maintained at any cost.
